With the cost of electricity on the rise, it’s more critical than ever to learn about what can be done to lower your bill.
“Ipswich Connects: Affordable Energy” will look at the history of energy creation in town over the centuries, present how the Ipswich Electric Light Department is working to keep costs down, discuss innovations that are creating cleaner power alternatives to fossil fuel, and provide ways that homeowners can make their homes more energy efficient.
Sponsored by the Ipswich Democratic Town Committee, and co-sponsored by the Ipswich Education Foundation, Town Green, and Harborlight Homes, the free event also will include information tables by local and regional organizations focused on energy-saving tips and ways to advocate for policy changes. Refreshments will be available.
